english composition [01 Aug 2008|06:24pm] nicolemui BOOTH 1 I feel that if it is not within my area of my house, its okay. But if it is within my area, then i'll have to tell them off. Not to the extend that i will shout at them, but talk to them and ask them to more their things away from my corridoor if it is not to my religion. I basically think that a concerned adult would ask them to put their things a side. i think they will ask him/her what are these things for. He must pay attention to what the neighbour has to say, if he says something wrong, then he'll have to scold him. This would defintely affect the residents staying around, but its up to them to do see if they are affected by this. If it is affected, then i think that this neighbour should apologise to the residents, just to make sure that a big fuss will not happen over this. If the effort by the concerned adult has failed,then maybe the adult can report this to the MP and get him to slove the problem. The mp will defintely find ways to help or even ask those who are working under him to help. If you want every particular to stay at a particular place like bedok, then like that different races will not be able to work and communicate with each other, thus causing more problems if they meet with trouble on the street. Thus, i feel that different races of singaporean should stay together, not differentiating the races. 252words (: post comment

Blogging and freedom of speech(USSW) [27 Jul 2008|10:01pm] tanmeiling Interesting topic this is. Let's try and do our part to reincarnate the blog shall we? Heh.  1. Racism in my opinion, is an act of bias-ness towards other races. I think that it is normal to come across these people. Cos they are inevitable, am I not right? Maybe they have reasons to what makes them act like that. But racism is also something most of us cringed upon. Hmm.. I think that since we are all living in a multi-racial country, people should  be considerate about people around them feel and we should learn to love one another and not discrminate or act biasly among the different races. After all, we are going to live here among different races for as long as we live right? So why not, work together in peace and set aside our differences? 2. A racist remark might be in many forms, usually promoting ill-feelings or hate towards a certain race.  3. I'll just ignore him/her and try to avoid her if possible.  4. Well, it might. EM! [20 May 2008|08:06pm] in2thelimelight [ mood | cheerful ] Hey all, its the 2nd day of our EM. Hope you guys are enjoying whatever EM you have chosen. I have deffinately enjoyed myself. Today the fashion design EM people did loads! We started off by doing a 'tie-dye' cloth. (Ours turned out really great!) After the break, we all did a potrait of Abu and then off to the Comupter lab to do a powerpoint slide on the different fashion styles we have chosen. At 2pm, we all left for a trip to Chinatown. 1 hour there and its back to school. Mr. Adrain says that gay fashion designer are nicknamed tea-pots because of the way the potray themselves, exactly like a teapot. Here are some pics to share: post comment

Okay, so yeah, some issues started and all but we shouldnt take it into our stride. But,im kinda excited for the upcoming sports day. And,i think that our class really worked hard to get into the top 6 and i know that we can work our way up to becoming champions. So, GO 3D!:) Our midyears are over and all, but somehow i think our elective module is kinda boring though like just spending the whole day in a computer lab listening to a speaker talk? wth? boring lah. Lots of good things to share! [15 May 2008|09:28pm] in2thelimelight [ mood | energetic ] Hello everyone!  Alot have been going around lately, and I really mean alot! We finally got back our papers, all of our papers. Guess the moment of waiting is finally over. Ummairah and Clarissa's birthday is today, so happy birthday guys and may all your dreams come true! Recieved a latter yesterday about school starting at 7.55am from term 3 onwards. Any comments on this matter? Starting late, obviously means ending late! Thats the sucky part right? Haha! Good news everyone! Boaz's metal thingy on his leg has been removed this morning! Hip hip horray! Guess we will all be looking forawrd to seeing him in school with us every single day of the week! Oh and the elective modules are starting as of tomorrow. Hope you all are excited about it. Learning new things are always a joy, well, it depends on what we're learning, correct?  Reminder: Kindly bring any recycable/reusable materials for post-exams activities people. Don't know what they are for but just bring. The cheer was awesome, guess the dance/cheer/human-lifting really knocks the socks off those judges. I guess Lionel and myself are the lame ones right? Totall KICK-ASS GOONS!  Can't wait for sports day where I know that we're gonna impress everyone. Good job guys! The 'seen' and 'unseen' ones! You all deserve a round of applause! (clap-clap-clap!)
